My piggybank doesn’t have into a green tick and says “out of sync”.

Sometimes you just have to wait a while. But if you waited more than 15 minutes and nothing happened you should create a file called “newpiggycoin.conf” in the following directory:

Windows

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\newpiggycoin\newpiggycoin.conf

Linux

/home/username/.newpiggycoin/newpiggycoin.conf

Mac

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/newpiggycoin/newpiggycoin.conf () with the following code:

How can I create more piggies? I heard about a thing called mining?

“New PiggyCoin (now typically referred to as just ‘PiggyCoin’ or ‘PIGGY’) is a proof-of-stake coin and cannot be ‘mined’. Instead of ‘mining’ (using computing power to search for numbers), you ‘stake’ your PiggyCoins and get rewarded when your staking is successful.

What are piggycoin’s specifications?

This is a proof-of-stake coin. Interest rate is targeted at 3% per year, but you won’t get this much unless you stake very often.
